Coolest Backdrop Ever!

These guys had the coolest backdrop I have ever seen at a reception. They used old doors from a family home and hooked them together and used them as a backdrop. They photographed really well along with the colors they had chosen. I have been waiting for someone to pick this turquoise and red combo. Best of all they love to have fun in their photos and that made for some interesting shots. Thanks for letting me be part of your special day. Do good always, love ya.

Can You Say Construction?

About a month ago this cute bride drove by the Idaho Falls Temple. She knew that there would be some construction on the grounds of the temple, but she had no idea that there would be no grounds. Only big piles of dirt! Let's just say that wasn't a good day. I was really worried when I got the news that all the places I was familiar with were no longer there. I would have to be really creative. Guess what? We got some great pictures! We thought oustide of the box and the grounds and worked for some good pictures. A seagull even flew into one shot and made the picture special. As we were walking around the dirt piles I asked the bride if all the mess really mattered now. She said, "Nope." It goes to show that what happens inside the walls of the temple are much more important than what happens on the outside. If only we could always remember that. Thanks guys it was a great day.

Only Part of the Fun

I am so excited for this beautiful bride. She is so sweet and deserves all life has to offer. I felt so bad, I wasn't able to go to the temple for the wedding photos. I was already booked, but I was able to do the reception, so I only got in on part of the fun. I love her family, her mom and dad are gracious, her brothers funny and kind, and she is the one of the sweetest young women I know and it was good to see who she would spend the rest of her life with. I love the picture of her in the church window, she looks like an angel. Wishing you both the best of everything. Love ya

Handsome Family

I had the pleasure to photograph this handsome family one evening. The weather was perfect, a little overcast, and the night was beautiful. But not as beautiful as their wonderful yard. I was a lot jealous, not of the work, but of the outcome. The flowers were the perfect backdrop for this cute family. It was nice to get to know each of you just a little. Hope you like the photos. Thanks

Families Grow!

It's so fun to see how this family has grown (increased in number) since the last time I took their pictures. They have increased by two cuties, both little boys.  It's nice to see these girls and reconnect with them. We went to a new found spot that works great for families. Room for all. Thanks guys it was nice to see you.
